Target group
We want to ignite a global shift where learning is constant, relevant, and truly for all. In a world facing serious divides in access and attention, we believe education must be engaging enough to compete with distraction and bold enough to reach the underserved. Our goal is to turn curiosity into action and make learning impossible to ignore.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

MOT aims to address the ticking bomb in global education. With 70% of students in low- and middle-income countries unable to understand basic texts, a lot is at stake. Through daily quizzes, multilingual play, and recall-based methods, we help make learning stick, turning curiosity into access and access into lasting knowledge, thus bridging the learning gap before it becomes generational loss.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Masters of Trivia makes learning feel like a daily habit of discovery, not a chore. The platform reaches 75,000+ monthly users in 196 countries and is available on the web, iOS, and Android. Players can explore 30,000+ questions across 100+ topics, from science to history, pop culture, and current events, using quizzes that spark memory and deepen recall. For example, after watching a movie, following trending news, or hearing about a topic for the first time, users can instantly jump into a related quiz to consolidate what they’ve learned and fuel curiosity. They can play solo, challenge friends, or join global multiplayer games. At the same time, points, badges, and leaderboards drive motivation through a state-of-the-art gamified system, while daily challenges and multilingual content keep learning active and inclusive. Furthermore, our newly launched MOT Token system rewards engagement, unlocking premium content and events.

How has it been spreading?

MOT spreads quickly because people love to talk about what they just learned or nailed in a head-to-head challenge. Our growth has come from being relevant, fun, and part of the daily conversation. We build quizzes around trends: movies, global events, viral stories, and even last night’s game, keeping players coming back and sharing.

We post daily quizzes on LinkedIn, X, and other socials to spark engagement with challenges and high-quality gamified content. Our Ambassador Program brings in influencers, community role models, teachers, and trivia lovers to help us grow in their circles. Players invite friends to compete and earn rewards through our MOT Token system. We’ve also partnered with rugby clubs in France and the UK and landed media coverage in MSN, Yahoo, and New York Magazine.

Implementation steps

Open the App or Website
Visit mastersoftrivia.com or download the Masters of Trivia app on iOS or Android. No signup or account is needed, just launch the platform and start exploring. Select your language and browse 100+ quiz categories. Choose between solo play, 1-on-1 challenges, or multiplayer contests. It takes just minutes to get started.
Choose a topic and start playing
Pick a quiz category from a vast number of topics. Each game includes 5–10 questions designed to improve memory through repetition and recall. Play alone or against others in real time. Every correct answer earns points, badges, and leaderboard rankings to keep learners motivated.
Engage daily with fresh challenges
Daily challenges refresh automatically and cover trending topics, films, news, global events, and more, keeping learning timely and fun. Encourage regular use by exploring new content each day. Teachers or facilitators can use group play modes in class or workshops to encourage participation and discussion.
Track progress and join the community
Users can see their progress through personalized stats, badges, and leaderboards. Encourage community sharing by posting scores and trivia wins on social media. Teachers can assign themed quizzes or friendly competitions to maximize group learning, collaboration, and reflection.
Earn MOT Tokens and unlock extra learning
As users complete quizzes and join challenges, they earn MOT Tokens, which are built right into the app. These tokens can unlock bonus quizzes, special tournaments, and extra learning features designed to keep curiosity alive. Everything starts free, and tokens are earned through participation, not payment. It’s a simple way to recognize effort and build long-term learning habits. Ours is a freemium model, and while extras can be bought, we want to keep learning and engagement free.
