Raise Them Queens Initiative

Networking girls today, to raise the next generation of royals.

Millions of girls face discrimination and limited opportunities, growing up to raise children who face the same. Africa’s challenge is not recognizing the girl child as the foundation of future families. Through global mentorship and empowerment, we raise self-aware, value-driven royals—because when we raise queens, we raise a world of changemakers.

I envision a world where more girls rise into politics and policy-making spaces, boldly shaping the future of their nations. I expect to see confident, self-aware young women who make informed decisions and leave meaningful impact on the world. I want to see intentional mothers build intentional homes—raising children who grow up secure, successful, and purpose-driven.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

My innovation was inspired by my work on The Ornament of the Nigerian Girl, where I explored the realities faced by girls from broken homes or those who were never truly "wanted." I saw that many of these girls grow up to raise children in the same cycle of pain.
Today, countless girls in Africa still face discrimination, violence, and cultural neglect. This crisis emerged when our society drifted from foundational African values and failed to recognize the girl child as the cornerstone of future families. My innovation exists to reverse this. I envision a society where boys and girls are raised like royalty—rooted in values, stability, and purpose. A safer society for everyone.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

It looks like a transformational training and empowerment model focused on reshaping society through the development of self-aware, value-driven young women. In practice, it looks like this:

1. Virtual Contents, Articles
A structured online course that equips girls and young women with tools to understand their worth, purpose, and power—beyond societal expectations. They learn about:

- Self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- Family dynamics and intentional parenting
- Leadership and value-based living
- Cultural identity and purpose

2. Mentorship & Community Engagement
Participants are connected with mentors— who model strength, values, and leadership. This builds intergenerational bridges and support systems. It also includes:

- Group coaching sessions
- Access to a network of like-minded peers
- Community support and access global opportunities

3. The Ambassador Program
Graduates of the training become Raise Them Queens Ambassadors—young women who take the vision into their schools, communities, and families. They serve as:

- Advocates for intentional parenting
- Voices for the girl child
- Catalysts for societal transformation

4. Family-Based Influence
It doesn’t end with the girls. Your model indirectly shapes families and communities by:
- Promoting healthy family structures
- Encouraging both genders to be raised with dignity and values
-Inspiring long-term cultural renewal

How has it been spreading?

1. Digital Presence & Content Creation:
Using platforms like YouTube and social media to share personal stories, discuss societal issues, and inspire young women. Through relatable videos and talk shows, our message reaches a broader, younger audience.

2. Public Speaking & Media Features:
We have had the opportunity to speak at events like:
- TheFEYREP event (2022) as a resource person
- Girl Child Day celebrations where your message deeply inspired attendees
These appearances have given Raise Them Queens visibility among policymakers, educators, and parents.

3. Word-of-Mouth & Community Impact
Members and participants of our programs become ambassadors—spreading the vision through peer influence, school clubs, community events, and family discussions. This grassroots approach reinforces our mission organically.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

We established a project under it, called the Raise Them Queens Ambassador Program—a three-month virtual fellowship designed to train and network young girls with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build intentional homes and strong family structures. By focusing on self-awareness, leadership, financial literacy, and community-building, the program equips women to positively shape the next generation. Through mentorship, skill-building workshops, and interactive sessions, we prepare young women to become value-driven mothers, mentors, and homemakers who will raise future generations with purpose, wisdom, and stability.
