We created XploreLab 360 because our team noticed how many students struggle with science and math due to lack of access to real labs and hands-on learning. We wanted to make these subjects more accessible and engaging for all students, no matter their background or resources. Our goal is to inspire curiosity and help students truly understand and enjoy STEM by giving them interactive, virtual experiences that bring learning to life. Our team partnered with Room to Read, a leading NGO focused on education, to expand our platform across Asia and explore opportunities in Africa.
XploreLab 360 is a platform that makes science and math come alive with virtual simulations. Students can run experiments, adjust variables, and see the results right in front of them, all without needing real lab equipment. Initially launched to support Afghan girls banned from accessing formal schooling, it has become a vital tool for equitable education. It covers subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, math, earth science, and astronomy. With easy-to-follow instructions, students can learn at their own pace and experiment as much as they like. XploreLab 360 helps make tricky concepts easier to understand.
XploreLab 360 has gained over 20,000 users through direct outreach in schools and educational events. Our volunteers have personally engaged with teachers and students, showcasing the platform's value at local workshops and competitions. Communities helped spread the platform quickly. For example, a local school in Pakistan adopted XploreLab 360 as a lab for its science program, and many students recommended it to their peers, creating organic growth. We're also working hard to make sure that students from countries all around the world have access to the app, helping break down barriers and give everyone a chance to learn, no matter where they are.
We’ve grown XploreLab 360 by adding new modules for chemistry, biology, and math, alongside the existing physics ones. We’ve also improved the user interface to make navigation smoother and more intuitive. By listening to feedback from teachers and a student survey We’ve made sure the simulations align better with classroom curriculums. These updates made the platform more versatile and easier to use for both students and teachers.
